These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by IRANTE, vl. Ante Gospodnetić (“we”, “us”, “IRANTE”) via the website irante-rent.com and in person in Supetar, Croatia. By booking, paying for, or using any of our services, you (“Customer”, “you”) confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
1. Service Provider

2. Services Offered
IRANTE offers the following services:
- Boat rental (with or without skipper)
- Watersports activities (parasailing, jet ski, tube rides, flyboard)
- Island tours and group excursions
- Taxi boat and airport transfer services
Detailed descriptions, pricing, and availability are published on our website. We reserve the right to modify offerings, prices, and availability at any time without prior notice.
3. Booking Process
Bookings can be made through:

- In person at our location in Supetar
A booking is considered confirmed only after we send written confirmation (email or WhatsApp). Until confirmation is sent, no contract exists between the Customer and IRANTE.
The Customer is responsible for ensuring all information provided at the time of booking is accurate and complete.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 Pricing All prices are in EUR (€) and include VAT where applicable. Prices for boat rentals are per day unless stated otherwise.
4.2 Payment for boat rentals For boat rentals, payment is required to confirm the reservation. Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
4.3 Payment for watersports, tours, and transfers Payment for watersports, island tours, and transfers is collected on the day of the activity, in cash (EUR) or by card at our location.
4.4 Security deposit (boat rentals only) A refundable security deposit of €200 is required at boat pick-up. The deposit is returned in full when the boat is returned in the same condition as received, with the same fuel level, and within the agreed return time.
4.5 Late payment Failure to complete payment results in cancellation of the booking and forfeiture of any deposit.
5. Cancellation Policy
5.1 Boat rentals
Because boat rentals require advance payment to reserve the vessel, the following cancellation policy applies:

5.2 Watersports, tours, and transfers
Since these are paid on the day of the activity, no cancellation fee applies if you cancel in advance. However:
- Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in refusal of future bookings.
5.3 Cancellation by IRANTE
We reserve the right to cancel any service due to:
- Severe or unsafe weather conditions (strong wind, storm, rough sea)
- Mechanical or technical issues with the boat or equipment
- Force majeure (illness of skipper, government restrictions, natural disasters)
- Insufficient minimum participants for group tours
In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule the booking at no extra cost.
5.4 Weather assessment
The decision to cancel for weather is made solely by IRANTE based on local conditions and safety. Customer requests to cancel for weather reasons when IRANTE deems conditions safe will be treated according to the standard cancellation policy in Section 5.1.
6. Boat Rental Conditions
6.1 License requirement For bareboat rentals (without skipper), the Customer must present a valid boating license (Croatian “Voditelj brodice B” or an equivalent license recognized in the European Union or internationally) at pick-up. If you cannot present a valid license, you must hire our skipper at the published rate, or the rental will be cancelled at the Customer’s expense.
6.2 Minimum age The Customer renting the boat must be at least 18 years old and present a valid government-issued ID at pick-up.
6.3 Fuel policy Boats are provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. If the boat is returned with less fuel, the difference will be charged at the local fuel rate plus a €20 handling fee.
6.4 Pick-up and drop-off Pick-up time and location are agreed at booking. Late drop-offs incur a fee of €50 per hour (or part thereof). Drop-offs more than 3 hours late may result in the full daily rate being charged.
6.5 Geographic limits The boat may only be operated within Croatian territorial waters. Crossing into international or foreign waters is strictly prohibited and constitutes a breach of these Terms, voiding insurance coverage.
6.6 Permitted use The Customer agrees to:
- Operate the boat with care, skill, and in compliance with maritime laws
- Not exceed the maximum passenger capacity
- Not use the boat for commercial purposes, competitions, or transport of goods
- Not allow unlicensed persons to operate the boat
- Avoid swimming areas, restricted zones, and protected marine areas
- Not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs while operating the boat
6.7 Damage and loss The Customer is responsible for any damage to the boat, equipment, or third-party property caused during the rental period. Damages will be assessed at return and:
- Damages up to €200 are deducted from the security deposit
- Damages exceeding €200 are charged separately to the Customer
- Loss or theft of the boat (when caused by Customer negligence) is the Customer’s responsibility up to the boat’s insured value
6.8 Mechanical issues In case of mechanical failure not caused by Customer misuse, the Customer must contact IRANTE immediately at +385 98 207 446. We will arrange repair or replacement as quickly as possible. We are not responsible for indirect losses (missed connections, accommodations, etc.) caused by mechanical issues beyond our control.
6.9 Accidents and emergencies In case of accident, collision, injury, or emergency:
- Ensure the safety of all passengers first
- Contact emergency services (112 or VHF Channel 16)
- Contact IRANTE immediately
- Do not admit fault to third parties
- Document the incident with photos and witness details
Failure to report an accident may void insurance coverage and result in full liability falling on the Customer.
7. Watersports Conditions
7.1 Health and safety Watersports activities (parasailing, jet ski, tube rides, flyboard) involve inherent physical risk. Customers must:
- Be in good physical health
- Disclose any medical conditions (heart conditions, back/neck injuries, recent surgery, epilepsy, pregnancy) before participating
- Follow all safety instructions given by our staff
- Wear all required safety equipment (life jackets, harnesses, helmets)
We reserve the right to refuse participation to any Customer we deem unfit or unsafe to participate.
7.2 Minimum age
- Parasailing: 6 years (with parental consent and weight requirements)
- Tube rides: 8 years (with adult supervision)
- Jet ski: 18 years to operate (passengers from 12 with consent)
- Flyboard: 16 years (with parental consent)
7.3 Liability waiver Before participating in any watersports activity, the Customer must sign a written waiver acknowledging the inherent risks of the activity and releasing IRANTE from liability for injuries arising from the activity, except in cases of proven gross negligence by IRANTE.
7.4 Alcohol and drugs Participation in any watersports activity while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden. We reserve the right to refuse service without refund in such cases.
8. Tours and Excursions
8.1 Itinerary changes Tour itineraries are subject to change due to weather, sea conditions, or operational needs. We will make reasonable efforts to provide a comparable experience but reserve the right to modify or omit stops for safety reasons.
8.2 Group tours Group tours require a minimum number of participants. If the minimum is not met, we may cancel the tour with full refund or offer a private tour at adjusted pricing.
8.3 Punctuality Customers must arrive at the agreed meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure. Late arrivals may result in missing the tour without refund.
9. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer agrees to:
- Provide accurate personal and contact information
- Arrive on time for all booked services
- Treat the boat, equipment, and staff with respect
- Follow all safety instructions
- Take responsibility for personal belongings (we are not liable for lost or stolen items)
- Cover their own travel insurance, including coverage for boating activities
10. Insurance
10.1 Third-party liability insurance All boats are covered by third-party liability insurance as required by Croatian maritime law. This insurance covers damage to third parties and their property.
10.2 What is NOT covered
- Damage to the boat caused by Customer negligence, misuse, or breach of these Terms
- Personal injury to Customer or passengers (Customer should arrange their own travel/medical insurance)
- Loss or theft of Customer’s personal belongings
- Damage caused while operating outside Croatian territorial waters
- Damage caused while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
10.3 Customer travel insurance We strongly recommend that Customers purchase comprehensive travel and medical insurance that includes coverage for boating and watersports activities.
11. Liability Limitations
11.1 To the maximum extent permitted by Croatian law, IRANTE’s total liability to the Customer for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the services provided is limited to the amount paid by the Customer for the specific service.
11.2 IRANTE is not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (missed flights, accommodation costs, etc.)
- Force majeure events (weather, natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, war)
- Injuries or damages caused by Customer’s own actions or negligence
- Inherent risks of maritime and watersports activities accepted by the Customer
11.3 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by IRANTE’s gross negligence or willful misconduct, where such limitation is prohibited by law.
12. Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: extreme weather, natural disasters, war, terrorism, government restrictions, pandemics, strikes, or maritime emergencies. In such cases, IRANTE will offer a refund, credit, or rescheduling.
13. Privacy and Data Protection
Personal data collected in connection with bookings is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at irante-rent.com/privacy-policy.
14. Complaints
Complaints should be submitted in writing to agospodnetic@yahoo.com within 8 days of the service date. We will respond within 15 days of receipt. Complaints submitted after this period may not be considered.
If the complaint cannot be resolved directly, the Customer has the right to refer the matter to:
- State Inspectorate (Državni inspektorat) at https://dirh.gov.hr
- Croatian Consumer Protection Association (HUZP) at https://huzp.hr
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court in Split, Croatia.
For Customers residing in the European Union, mandatory consumer protection rights under EU law remain unaffected.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our website with a new “Last updated” date. The Terms in effect at the time of your booking apply to that booking.
